Import Strat Team

Before importing directly from the Strat-O-Matic game, add the teams and owners as described in Owners help.

Importing Directly From the Strat-O-Matic Game

You may import one or more teams at a time. Open your Strat-O-Matic Baseball game and click on your league. From the menu select Display Reports as shown in the picture to the left. To import all teams, be sure to choose "Each Team" from the Team menu item on the Strat-O-Matic report. Free agents are not included in the "Each Team" report, import them by creating a separate report when you choose "Free Agents" rather than "Each Team". To import only one team choose the team you wish to import and create the report. Please note this feature is not compatible with retro leagues prior to 1999.

Note: Even if your league stats have been adjusted you can still import! First adjust back to 100%, import then adjust back. For example if stats have beeb adjusted by to 105% then adjust stats by 100/105 or .9523809, import and then adjust back to 1.05,

Display the Roster Report and choose Print To File from the menu as shown in the picture to the left. When prompted, save the file to a convenient location remembering the name you save it as and where you've saved it because you will need this file in the next step.

Now import the file you just created in Strat-O-Matic into Strat Draft using the menu item Import SOM Roster Report under Administrative Tools -> League Players -> Import/Export -> Import SOM Roster Report.
